Yogi's personality was based off of Ed Norton character on The Honeymooners . Yogi's name is based off of baseball star Yogi Berra.The cartoons were based mostly off his trying to steal picnic baskets in the fictional Jellystone Park with his not so willing friend Boo Boo.
